9. Product Care
Your board will last for a lifetime if you follow some basic rules to maintain its beauty and longevity.
All chopping boards are finished with two coats of food safe mineral oil and one coat of board butter which is a combination of mineral oil and various waxes including beeswax and carnauba wax.
Never put your board in the dishwasher or submerged in a washing bowl. Use a soft brush to remove any harder residue. The board can be cleaned generally with a damp cloth.
If the board becomes stained, it can be cleaned carefully with an abrasive cloth using a mild solution of soapy water and lemon juice. Make sure the board is dried with a cloth or allowed to air dry on the dry kitchen drainer.
If the board should lose some of its gleaming finish, you can purchase a small bottle of mineral oil and a tub of chopping board butter from Amazon for under £6.00. This can be applied using a dry clean cloth.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Board Designer liability is limited to the total value of goods within the purchase order. The Board Designer will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or business costs associated with the purchase of our products.
