About
Unique and bespoke. There is only one type of your board in the world.
A very warm welcome to the board designer website and we hope that you find our products of interest. We are a small family run business based in Worcester, established as a business in April 2021, registered at Companies House number 13343193, based in the heart of the West Midlands, not too far from the beautiful Malvern Hills. We specialize in the design and manufacture of unique bespoke boards (chessboards, butcher blocks, chopping boards and cheeseboards), created using beautiful hardwoods. Aside from these beautiful boards, we also design and manufacture a number of other products. We also take on larger commissions such as exquisite floating staircase treads and beautiful parquet flooring.

Materials & finishes
What goes into every piece
We use only food-safe, professional-grade adhesives and finishes. Every product that touches your food or your home has been chosen for its safety, durability, and quality.
Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue
The industry-leading waterproof wood glue used on all our laminated boards. FDA approved for indirect food contact — safe for chopping boards, butcher blocks, and cheeseboards. Stronger than the wood itself once cured.

Carnauba & Beeswax Finish
All our boards are finished with a blend of natural carnauba wax and beeswax — 100% food safe, completely natural, and free from synthetic chemicals. It nourishes the wood, enhances the grain, and provides a durable, water-resistant surface that is safe for direct food contact.
Sustainability
Responsible by design
We source all our timber from suppliers who operate to FSC or PEFC standards, or from certified British woodland. We don't use tropical hardwoods from uncertified sources.
Offcuts and shavings are composted or used as kindling. Finishing oils are food-safe and plant-based wherever possible. We aim to leave as little waste as the wood will allow.
